What's SDGs?

SDGs is the shortened form of the word "Sustainable Development Goals".

Kumamoto Taxi Co.,Ltd. is working on especially for "Environment", "Society", "Economy" Goals with enrolling in the local(Kumamoto Pref.) SDGs registration system.

Actively introducing Electric cars(Hybrid and Triple hybrid and LPG(liquefied petroleum gas) cars as Taxi cabs.

We were given certification named Green Management which means a transportation business operation with low environmental load by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and by Transportation Ecology Mobility Foundation.

And then working on continuous environment improvements.

We are working on realizing 17 Goals through various other corporate activities.

■Striving for fair transactions, our labor regulations stipulate forbidding unfair competitive bidding.

■Compliance with trademark and copyright protection (currently applying for own trademark)

■Enriching ways of collecting customers' voices, for example Kuma-pong reward system, Taxi Dispatching App and SNS, and sharing customers' opinions in the company.

■We have a Career-Path system which supports getting various qualifications, a career advancement system and a personnel evaluation system that encourages every employee’s growth.

■Managing the landscape of “Ochozu” that is specified as Kumamoto Water Heritage and around there.

■Preservation of a natural ecosystem.

■Encouraging to take certification of Kumamoto Water Knowledge Test, got certified "Bronze Company of Groundwater Conservation" from Kumamoto Groundwater Conservation Foundation.

■Fair treatment of employees (We flexibly accepted turning a part-time employee to a full-time employee if they had their own request.)

■Got certified "Healthter★" which can be an index of a healthful company operation from the Japan Health Insurance Association Kumamoto branch.

■Got certified "Good Work Environment for Drivers (Certification system for a pleasant workplace)” by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism and the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

■Got certified "Female Drivers Support Company" by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
